Dream interpretation

Hello Guys. A lot of folks have posted here about demonic dreams that they have had. I’m worried that some of you may be under the impression that there is something significant or meaningful about the images that you are seeing during demonic dream attacks. Let’s clear this up right now. There’s no message that you are supposed to get from these dreams. There’s no meaning that you need to understand. The images in these dreams are just junk that a demon dreamed up and put into your dream to bother you, scare you, or confuse you. Demons can watch us from the spirit world. They can get a good impression of what’s important to you, what will scare you, and what will confuse you. They tailor the fake scenarios in their dream attacks to suite the particular victim. Whatever they think will have the desired effect on a victim is what they will include in a dream attack on that particular victim. If they see you worried about your child in your day to day activities, they will implant some disgusting scenario about your child in a dream and inflict it on you while you sleep. It’s not real, it’s not prophetic, it’s not giving you any kind of truth. These dreams are nothing but spiteful garbage that a demon came up with. They are known to be liars. Please don’t worry about anything in these dreams being true. Instead focus on finding out what is giving them the right to stick their noses in your dreams and get it out of your life.

Thank you so much for this post. You have helped me so much tonight. My dream tonight had no element of truth, and was filled with situations and images designed to terrify me. My first thought when I woke up was of a friend I had in college who told me I might be under demonic attack. I am sure he is right now. How can I keep my daughters and my husband safe? If i know I am under attack, I can find refuge in God. But I don’t know how to warn them without thinking I am going crazy. My husband is an atheist and unlikely to believe me readily. Help.

Thank you so much for your blog! I recently had had a dream that people were being murdered all around me. It was as if I had stepped onto a battlefield, people being struck with swords and knives in their backs, others were gunned down. I could not see my husband and children, I seemed to be searching and trying to escape. I turned the corner and there were a group of people crying and weeping over a man who had died…. he was on a cross. I stopped and watched and was overcome by such deep sorrow inside and as tears came down, a authoritative sounding man yelled, “even he couldn’t save you”. I felt confused and called out for God to help me and woke up. The dream left me feeling very uncomfortable and searching for understanding because I couldn’t shake the dread/sadness I was feeling. I had never heard of spiritual warfare before. These types of dreams started after I had recently finished my first Bible Study Fellowship this year.

Thank you so much for your post. I was recently baptised at a church. Everytime I go to that church, the preacher rebukes us and tells us to repent so that our walk with God would be closer. I’m thankful God led me there cause living a righteous life is something I deeply struggle with eversince I was a kid (pornography). However, today I had an afternoon nap and had a terrible nightmare. In that dream, I woke up to a room filled with many beautiful dresses but I was upset because it still made me feel ugly (I’m fat). I saw my mom on the door and cried out to her, but she looked at me coldly and ignored mr. Then I noticed in the room, there was a huge cross on the floor, but it was destroyed and broken in splinters. My mom came into the room and I asked her what happened when she suddenly wore a head covering and transformed into an unrecognisable beatiful lady and showed me a broken painting which looked quite obscure and a little scary, but the picture seemed it to be like a satanic ritual. She knelt down suddenly and started praying for me, while grabbing a black pipe filled with what I thought was Holy water… Anyway as she started praying in gibberish, I felt immense pain in my right neck, and thought she was doing exorcism because she suddenly said “kill”. In my dream I prayed too as she “prayed”, telling God how sorry I am and that I will repent from watching things that lead me to porn (such as anime), but as other triggers came into mind, I refuse to repent of them because I thought I was strong enough. Anyway the pain became more intense so I asked The Lord Jesus to deliver me from the demon inside of me which I thought was causing the pain because of the exorcism. And I woke up with the same pain still on my neck, so I wasn’t just imagining things. I don’t really know if this dream was from God…. the broken cross and the weird attitude from my mom, and the fact that my ‘mom’ attributed the satanic image to the church that taught me to repent and walk with Christ and strengthened my spiritual walk is very weird and mismatched. Do you think it’s from
God or from the enemy, because I’m starting to take my walk with God?

Great blog, I was saved a few months ago and I am getting attacked on a weekly basis now, I am starting to understand how Satan is working. Thank you please keep posting

  6. Pastor Billy, I have leaned a lot from your blogs as a pastor. I want to thank God for the Grace you have to be able to educate the world about Jesus. But on the dream interpretation, I would urge you to do more research Just as you dead with the self deliverance blogs and closing demonic doors, where you said you placed the cart before the wheels.

You emphasize a lot on dreams as mare demonic junks for scaring people, but its not true. The Bible indicates that God revealed His will to selected people through dreams or visions in Scriptures such as Genesis 37:5-10; 1 Kings 3:5-15; Daniel, chapters 2 and 7; Matthew 1:20; 2:13,19; and Acts 10:9-16; 16:9.

God may communicate through dreams or visions even today, but we need to carefully check any such guidance we receive with Scripture and godly counsel to be sure it is from the Lord. Anything which contradicts Scripture is not from God. Our minds and even Satan are capable of producing great deception in such subjective areas.

On the other hand dreams opens spirits to understand the spiritual world and even we can know what the next battle the devil is planning to attack our life and cancel it before hand. Because on my opinion what we see will manifest into the natural not too soon. Feel free to let me know your feeling about this via email Be blessed.

    Im Jerry
